Old Sckool Gaming

After spending most of yesterday playing COD:World of War, I finished up the afternoon with some old and new school card games.  I went over my cousins house and we played Uno (with the original card design 🙂 ), Phase10, Gin Rummy, Deuces are Wild, and a new one..Uno Spin.  Had a great time.  Next time we will probably bring out some Monopoly.

Although when I got home this morning at 1:30, I got back online with COD….I’m hooked!!!

My Call Of Duty…..duty

I was up to about 3 this morning playing Call of Duty: World of War online with my brother and cousin.   Very fun!!  They are much better than I am, but they are die-hard FPS players.  The game does get frustrating at times when you keep getting killed from grenades and you can’t tell where they are coming from 🙁  The weapons on this game is from the World War era.  The weapons on COD4 are way better…but it is called Modern Warfare for a reason.  Still, the game play on World of War is solid.

On another note…I got my brother Prince of Persia for Christmas.  He says it’s a great game.  I hope he lets me borrow it when he is done.

Trying to get in as much gaming as I can during my time off.   See ya on XBL.

The Day After

Well, it’s the day after Christmas (and it’s my wife’s birthday).  She got me a G Garvin cookbook for Christmas (smart move on her part).  I plan to make a new recipe from the book at least once a week.  I made my first dish today…Chicken Sate w/ Spicy Peanut Sauce.  Darn tasty.  I hope practice makes perfect.  I really needed an excuse to touch up my cooking skillz anyway!!!
