Game Changer

Yesterday I made a few BIG changes!!

I canceled my Netflix account for one.  My co-worker told me that there was a new RedBox on the route I take to work.  I had never used a RedBox before, but was always interested in them.  I had heard good things about it.  Lately I’ve been too busy to watch the moves I get from Netflix.  With RedBox I can control when I get a move.  And for $1 a day, it’s OK with me!!

I also cancelled my Audible account.  I basically got the account so I could finish The Dark Tower series.  I read books 1-4, but got tired of reading so I got books 5-7 on Audible.   Audible is great, but I never have time to listen to my podcasts.

And finally, I subscribed to GameFly.  There is alot of great games coming out.  But, at $60 a pop I don’t get to play many of them.  Also, I tend to lose interest in most games if they aren’t a game I can pickup and play for only 20-30 minutes…like Call of Duty 5 Deathmatch.  Also this will give me a chance to get some of the games my brother gets on GameFly and we can play them together.

Yeah…these moves are a real “Game Changer” for me…..

Snow Day

Enjoyed having a Snow Day off from work yesterday.  Spent most of the day watching the Inauguration (which was very moving…I’ve never seen that many people at an Inauguration before).  Then I played a little Call of Duty.  Then I spent the rest of the day watching “The Office” through Netflix through my XBox 360.

I’ve been watching “The Office” for a long time now.  I just realized last night that Dwight always wears a gold shirt!  I had missed a few episodes, so I starting wathing them on Netflix to make sure I was all caught up.   I finished up Season 2 last night and watched the first 3 episodes of Season 3.

Great Snow Day and congratulations  to President Obama!!

Showing Da Wii Some Love

I been playing the XBox 360 a lot lately. My Wii has been fellin neglected. So I downloaded two games for it tonight:

World of Goo
RiverCity Ransom

World of Goo is an excellent indy game on WiiWare. RiverCity Ransom is a classic that my brother and I used to play for hours on end on the original NES.
